The Different Kinds Of Brain Chemicals

Brain chemicals are one of the most vital components that affect a persons concentration, mood swings and energy levels. These components also affect an individuals ability to sweat, fidgeting and sleep. There are a number of body fluids that have a large effect to these body reactions.

The rate of production of these body fluids is influenced by factors such as stress, exercise, sleep, life style and diet. Serotonin is one of the vital fluids. A number of kinds of depression are linked to a deficiency in serotonin. If this fluid lacks to reach the serotonergic receptors or adrenergic receptors, it causes depression.

Acetylcholine is also another type of body fluid, which has a direct impact to the levels of alertness and memory. If sufficient fluid is produced, it moves to the cholinergic system which is the one that affects alertness and memory. This fluid is also directly linked to sexual performance as well as arousal.

The other kind of chemical is the dopamine. If dopamine does not get to the Basil Ganglia, it results into Parkinson's disease. The other kind of condition that is caused by production of dopamine is the Schizophrenia. Schizophrenia is the lack of ability to reason straight.

If dopamine does not reach the Basil Ganglia, it results into a disease that is known as Parkinson's disease. Lack of enough dopamine also results into a condition that is called Schizophrenia. This condition is the lack of ability of a person to think straight. This condition occurs is the dopamine fails to reach the frontal lobe.

Phenylethylamine is also another kind of body fluid. A surge this chemical in the limbic system causes a feeling of bliss. The other important brain chemicals are the Oxytocin and norepinephrine.
